神垂听我紧急的呼求
当时我们几个弟兄选好了两首歌：《何等恩典》和《远行》。我没有献过诗，但我想，两首歌中间应该有个衔接过渡，所以我想利用吃完中饭到再次练诗之间的大约十分钟内，写出一篇祈祷文。这天中午我只吃了一碗（往常得吃三碗），就赶紧坐到图书馆里边祈祷神边写。
我说：“神啊，我今天是第一次向你献诗，求你悦纳。现在孩子想在这么短的时间内写一篇祷文，求你的圣灵引导我，也求你将你想要向我们说的话告诉我。”我先写了一部分，写不下去了。我再次祷告求神帮助，再次等候神。这时我的头脑中浮现出主祷文，我就想起主祷文中说的：“我们在天上的父，愿人都尊你的名为圣，愿你的国降临。……”想到这里我停住了。我想：这个时候如果神的国来了，我预备好了吗？完后我就知道怎样写了。接着我就把写出来的内容顺序调整，然后誊写了一遍。刚写完，那边就有人喊：“诗班快来练诗歌”。我就感谢神帮助我，让我在这么短的时间内完成了这篇祈祷文。 荣耀归给三位一体的至高真神！
以下是我那天写下的祷文：
亲爱的天父，满有恩典的主，我们满心感谢你。感谢你创造了世界，并从世界中拣选了我们。主啊，我们深深知道，不是我们先爱你，乃是你先爱了我们，为救赎我们，你道成肉身，被钉十字架，成了我们的替罪羔羊。我们不过是尘土，你却给了我们何等大的恩典啊！我们真心感谢赞美你。
父上帝，我们常常向你呼求：愿你的国降临，可是扪心自问，我们预备好了吗？亲爱的恩主耶稣基督，我们已看到你焦急的心和忧伤的灵。你仍在等候。你来的日子已近了，可是我们人常常处于麻木、不冷不热、软弱之中。父上帝，求你圣善的灵引导帮助我们，让我们常以父的事为念，以基督的心为心。也求圣灵充满我们，让我们能够背负自己的十字架来跟从你，步你的脚踪，去撒种、去远行。我们将一切的权柄、大能、荣耀，归给我们的恩主耶稣基督，归给三位一体的至高真神。这以上的祷告奉我主耶稣基督的名求。阿门。
